We include photography tips and techniques. Photography can also be viewed as a commercial and artistic endeavor. At the highest-end, some digital cameras are nothing but a sophisticated light-sensing unit. There is lots of information here for anyone with a personal or professional interest in photography. Helps you master the digital photography techniques you need to succeed. Gives you all the photography basics you need to take control of your high-performance camera. "One picture is worth a thousand words," which has an interesting basis in the history of photography. Modern digital cameras have comparable noise/grain at the same ISO as film cameras. Even after color film was readily available, black-and-white photography continued to dominate for decades, due to its lower cost and its "classic" photographic look. Photography is used to preserve memories of favorite times, to capture special moments, to tell stories, to send messages, and as a source of entertainment. Photography as a usable process goes back to the 1820s with the development of chemical photography. Photography is a unique and creative medium of self-expression.

It was a cold day at Marken. The northeastern wind had the feeling like it was -20 degrees. But it was worth it!

Shanghai is a great futuristic city with so many people and places to see it becomes overwhelming at times. One of my favorite parts about the city is the street food. You can get lost and wander for hours in a city like this, and that is what normally happens, at least to myself. The public transportation is great and the people are very kind. Shanghai is a city everyone should visit.
The was taken as 3 RAW files at-2,0,+2 EV and processed as an HDR in Photomatix and CS5.
