Even after color film was readily available, black-and-white photography continued to dominate for decades, due to its lower cost and its "classic" photographic look. If you have a knack for photography, and enjoy doing it, then you might want to think about using your hobby as a way to make some extra money for yourself. Fashion and glamour photography usually incorporates models. You should learn about lenses, exposure, and other basic techniques used in the many different types of photography. With the acceptable image quality and the other advantages of digital photography, particularly the time constraints of vital importance to newspapers, the majority of professional news photographers have begun capturing their images with digital cameras. Modern digital cameras have comparable noise/grain at the same ISO as film cameras. The technology has improved so rapidly that one of Kodak's film cameras was discontinued before it was awarded a "camera of the year" award later in the year. Discover a wide range of digital cameras at low prices.

"We Suggest High Speed Film'
Billboard for a popular Wisconsin Dells tourist attraction, The Dells Boat Tours. This is one of the grandfathers of Dell's entertainment - I rode on the boats 40+ years ago when on a family vacation.
One of the stops the boat makes during the tour is at Standing Rock, where a trained dog leaps from a cliff over a 5 foot chasm to a stand-alone rock. (When I first saw this trick, the leaper was a man, not a dog. I don't know when the company changed it's feature.) The demonstration commemorates the world’s first stop-action photo taken by famous Dells photographer H.H. Bennett in 1888. The photograph is titled Leaping the Chasm.
