Throughout the history of photography, technological advances in optics, camera production, developing, and imaging have had an effect on the way people view images. The commercial photographic world could include Advertising photography. These are photographs made to illustrate and usually sell a service or product. Some commercial photographers, and some amateurs interested in artistic photography, have been resistant to using digital rather than film cameras because they believe that the image quality available from a digital camera is still inferior to that available from a film camera, and the quality of images taken on medium format film is near-impossible to match at any price with a digital camera. When it comes to taking quality photographs, you need to know what lenses you should use, and when you need to use them. There is lots of information here for anyone with a personal or professional interest in photography. You should learn about lenses, exposure, and other basic techniques used in the many different types of photography. You have many options when it comes to a career in photography, depending on your own personal interests. "One picture is worth a thousand words," which has an interesting basis in the history of photography.

Become A Photographer - Best Photography Advice
www.BecomeAPhotographerTips.com Learn the business of photography. Click the link for 100% FREE weekly video tips from the world's most successful shooters! Join us on Facebook: www.facebook.com Twitter: www.twitter.com The main site: www.becomeaphotographer.com Summary In this video, Becker - one of the most successful wedding photographers in the world, shares his advice for new photographers. Aaron Wulf: What's the best piece of advice you've gotten in your career? What's the best piece of advice you can give to a new photographer just starting out? Becker: Again, it all goes down to those relationships. I've gotten so much advice over the years, I've just kind of soaked it all up. But the thing that I like to tell people is, "Yeah, take the best pictures that you know how, but it's so much more important to just take care of people. It's a people business. It's about relationships." Sometimes people say, "Well, what if I don't have a good personality?" And I'm like, "Well, look for another line of work," or "Best of luck to you," or "Get a better personality." It's funny because you can't shut me up now, but growing up I was actually a really shy guy. Aaron Wulf: You told me that, yeah. Becker: When I think about my business, I take so much pride in what I do. I'm excited. I think in my normal life I really think I'm kind of like Clark Kent, just an average old American here. Then when it comes time for the wedding, it's like, "Hey, got to open up the chest here and ... |

Street Photography Workshop Part 1. 'Introduction'
Part 1 of 3 on my new workshop video sample on, Street Photography, "Seeking light to create the story". Sonia partook on the course that I now offer to aspiring street photographers. Some of the primary objective of the course is to teach and hunt for light, elevating the subject to provide a better image. Participants are not allowed to use any flash devices, instead, they are trained to adjust their camera features, and seek for AVAILABLE light. With my previous training as a city street tour guide in Costa Rica (2003-2004) I will bring, in my course, ways to understand culture and personality. The course not only provides technical information on camera features, but, also, a sense of tourism in the environment. We will be on a walking tour with some parts of the environment. Keep an eye out for the second part of the video workshop, where I will discuss a little bit about safety in the streets, and more tips along the way. SUBSCRIBE TO MY PAGE Welcome to my personal Youtube Video Vlogs. This is my approach into photography, and incorporating motion, plus, narration into the images. A form of video documentation, and enhancement to help elevate the story. I share with you my challenges, and accomplishments in my hunt for the visual story. Follow me in my journey as I explore the world through my perspective. Become A Photographer - How To Get Your Next Photography Job

Join us on Facebook: www.facebook.com Twitter: www.twitter.com The main site: www.becomeaphotographer.com Summary In this video, Becker, one of the world's most popular wedding photographers, talks about how he leverages one photography job to get the next one. Transcript: Aaron Wulf: There are photographers listening in who can get their first paid gig, but they can't get the next one. What do you do to take advantage of the work you've just done for a client to get the next job with the next clients? Becker: Well, I'm really all about networking, networking with other photographers. Of course with the [b] School, we network with our other vendors. But then you have to take care of your clients. My whole goal is I want to make sure I do such a great job for the client, not only to give them awesome pictures, but to give them an outstanding experience so that they like me as a person, and they love being photographed by me so that way they rave about me to their friends. I've just been one to ask for referrals, like, "Hey, the best way you can thank me is tell your friends about what I did." Again, as I built my wedding business, that's what happened, over and over. My favorite sentence in the world was like, "Hi, I was a bridesmaid in so and so's wedding." So it's like, "Great! You've ... |
